Dri Archer vs DeAnthony Thomas

Oh and I know exactly who the rams coordinator is. You must not know our own coordinator bc if u did ud know that what he needs is a redzone target not some undersized slot wr. I understand u guys see the 40 time and the highlight tapes and they look explosive but cmon all players look good in those and you forget. We RUN the ball.. we need wrs that block. If you can't block you can't play. Show me the tapes where they block, then I'll lean towards endorsing one of them.

Since when did I say I was enamored with their 40s? Do I want their speed on our team, of course. But you're not seeing the whole picture. Yes we need a bigger target. But guess what, either of these 2 wouldn't be the 1st WR we take. They'd be the 2nd WR taken that give us another element we don't have. And saying our interest in Edelman and Jackson was lukewarm is laughable. Do you have inside knowledge? No. We wanted them to come and visit, scheduled a visit with them, but they ended up signing elsewhere before ever making it out to 49ers headquarters.

Well then what are you in love with.. bc watching Archer all I saw was a really fast guy against meager competition. I didn't see him in the slot either. Did you read my previous comment before this last one? If you did you'd know I alluded to the fact that they would be the second wr we would draft, making it all that much less likely that player sees the field. Dude we hardly run 4wr sets .. sometimes 3.. but we already have crabs patron boldin Patton Vernon (that lines up as a receiver on 3 and 4 wr sets) and were also gonna have a 1st or 2nd round wr in the rotation.. so Who are you going to sit to put Archer out on the field? I can see them coming as a return specialist.

And just bc there's a visit, it doesn't mean theyre pushing heavy for a player. If the niners really wanted Edelman or djax they'd be a lot more aggressive. It would have been the 1st destination for djax after leaving Philly and they would not have let Edelman leave without a contract.
