Im not sure how it works either, but i dont think signing vets like we did effects comp picks. All i know is that it has been widely speculated we will get a third for Goldson. We could end with 4 thirds next season.

Dorsey will likely be the only guy that counts toward our addition/subtraction (nnamdi was cut and doesnt count). Due to his playing time. We should likely net a 3rd for Golson. Walker we are looking at ATLEAST a 4th assuming he'll be starting and producing. So in reality Dorsey will at worst cancel out Soap or RJF

IIRC, it's contract and playing time that factor in. Dahl will count. Dawson could count.
I'd like to see an attempt to go after DE/DT Jesse Williams. I really thought late 1st thru 2nd on him. I cannot believe he fell this far. Maybe something we dont know about him? Then I wanted Lattimore but maybe we need a healthier option at RB sleeper style grinder but who?
Jesse Williams would be a nice FB in our offense.
Terry Hawthorne
Ryan Swope
Da'Rick Rogers
Jesse Williams
Montori Hughes
CB Jordan Poyer - benched poorly 8 times & character issues but like his upside and game tape competitor
WR Quinton Patton - quick & fast 4tds against Texas A&M look at the tape great prospect
DL Jesse Williams - NT just a plugger NOT much of producer but great for 1st & 2nd down
C Barrett Jones - Ability, leadership & physical I like
WR Denard Robinson - Maybe a great returner as he is fast unlike Ace Sanders with upside come on SHOELESS
K Dustin Hopkins - Compete with Dawson
QB Collin Klein - Ran option in College

Quoting myself to admit...they're still there after half the round! Maybe? NT and WR?

contract, playing time and postseason awards.

i havent "predicted"/"studied" our/the situation the last few years. but the cut off then was about 3m/y (just by totaling the years and worth of the contract. which increased as the salary cap increased. none of our guys are expensive enough to really count. not all FA's count. due to the 3 criterias mentioned.
Sanders Commings, Quinton Patten & Jesse Williams still on the board.
Who will it be???

offensive tackle..... unforunately
If we dont take Poyer at 31 I feel that Baltmore will take him. But I also dont wanna miss out on Lattimore
