Don't you think we need to address the DE position early in the draft. Justin Smith is 34 and coming off injury, McDonald has played a ton of snaps the last few year and now w/ Rick Jean out, we lack quality depth

Watched it, take back what I said about not getting him if he was a young 20-22 year old prospect. However, he is raw and he will be 26 by the start of the season, think about it, Alex is 28 and he has been around for 8 years. If he was projected to be a 3rd round pick then I would take a flyer at him.

If we were to somehow in a perfect world come away with Tavon Austin AND Margus Hunt then I swear that I will never ask for another Christmas present again.

Totally agree, no DL depth, we all seen what happened when we lost 1 of our DL, do not want our defense to go through that again

I know we need pressure from our 4 man line but there's no DE worth the 31st pick D.Jones will be gone we brough in Glen Dorsey to help out on the d line, Demarcus Dobbs coming back from injury McD,Dorsey,Smith,Dobbs (S.Williams)last year we had no back ups..OLB SMITH,BROOKS.....back ups Cory Fleming, Parys Haralson,Cam Johnson, (John Simon) were we are picking theres no one, that will break the starting line up Justin Smith will play 2 more years and retire a 49er These players will keep the pressure on in the 4th quarter when we are winning by double digits.

Tavon Austin would he start on our team yes he would slot WR, return punts and kick offs (Ginn Jr) (moss) Crabtree,Boldin,Austin,Manningham,Williams

Sylvester Williams would he start yes at NT he would be our biggest D-lineman and could also play DE in our 3-4

Darius Slay would he start no but special teams and back up, he would in 2014 Rodgers will be gone 5 million

Travis Kelce would he start yes in our 2 TE formation and big part in the RedZone

Bacarri Rambo would he start not at first but would come in and replace Whitner on 3 rd and long situations and special teams and start 2014

Brian Schwenke would he start no but would back up at guard and center if one of our OT goes down Boone would kick out. Starter 2014 Goodwin 4 million gone

John Simon would he start no but he would push the rest of the OLB'S non stop motor i think he beats out Cam Johnson

The Niners will draft another D-lineman in the draft and i think the will sign another FA D-lineman

Our Defense will be number 1 our offense would be top 5

Lotulelei falls to 13.Trade 31 and 61 to move up and get him.

76- Robert Alford

93- JJ Wilcox

128- Knile Davis

131- Brian Schwenke

I don't really like the players, but that will vary from person to person. What I don't like is the lack of positional diversity. 2 early DL, 2 early DBs. Mid level talent for the offensive skill positions. Also 2 players with known character issues. That's a bit dangerous...
