Okay folks! Here it is. My first ever attempt, Hopefully, I didn't completely embarrass myself.
1. 1st, #31 - Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
2. 2nd, #34 - Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington State
3. 2nd, #61 - Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech
4. 3rd, # 74- Darius Slay, CB, Mississippi State
5. 3rd, # 93- Matt Scott, QB, Arizona
6. 3rd, Comp - Kyle Long, OT, Oregon State
7. 4th, Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina
8. 5th, Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati
9. 5th, Dusitn Hopkins, K, Florida State
10. 6th, camp fodder/trade
11. 6th, camp fodder/trade
12. 7th, camp fodder/trade
13. 7th, camp fodder/trade
14. 7th, Comp – camp fodder
15. 7th, Comp – camp fodder
I know it's cheating, but I don't have much confidence that ANY 6th or 7th round pick can make this team - just too much depth.

Nice picks.
Just don't like Matt Scott in the 3rd.
I think we can get him late 4th or 5th

I would like to think that he will be there in the 4th, but his stock is rising, and maybe I'm a just a little scared he won't be LOL

Slay and Scott are wasted picks IMO (I like the draft otherwise). We need to find an eventual replacement for Justin Smith in this draft. Hankins is solid, but more of a NT.
I would suggest either packaging those two 3rd rounders and moving up into the 2nd round and going for Magus Hunt or the following:
Cornellius Carradine, DE 6'4" 276 Florida State: He suffered an ACL injury in November, but he has 1st round talent and great athletecism. Pick 74 would be a good place to take a chance on this guy and Justin Smith's eventual replacement.

I'm starting to like Carradine. Been reading more about him. Hunt, not so much. I agree we probably need more d-line help, and I'll most likely adjust this as time goes by, especially after FA.

nice draft but I have to agree with blm7754 about slay and Scott. Its not that the are not good players I just feel that at those picks we should get a DE and a OLB. But I do agree with you about Hunt he's just too much of a boom or bust pick for my taste that early. I do like the Carradine idea though

6th and 7th rounders are key for the future. Basically yuou are saying it is too hard to predict which I agree with. I think you need to take fliers on players to try to uncover hidden gems. For example eric heitmann fell due to a back problem concern. Niners got a starter (projected 3rd rounder ) in the 7th round.
Marquis Colston 7th round
Tom Brady 6th round
RB from Washington who got 1500 yards was a 6th rounder.
I think a raw TE could drop to the 6th or seventh. Faruia or Tolio from stanford.

I keep hearing more about these two. Gonna do some more research on them.

1. 1st, #31 - Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State - meh. Not a big fan and don't think he's a great fit for our style of 3-4
2. 2nd, #34 - Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington State - Highly doubt here'll be here, but would love it if he was
3. 2nd, #61 - Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech - Not sure he'll be here, but would love it again
4. 3rd, # 74- Darius Slay, CB, Mississippi State - After what he did at the combine....a 3rd rounder? IMO, not very likely
5. 3rd, # 93- Matt Scott, QB, Arizona - Not a big fan of Scott in general, but I know others on here like him...but in the 3rd round?
6. 3rd, Comp - Kyle Long, OT, Oregon State - Long seems like a solid 2nd rounder; would be a steal in the late 3rd
7. 4th, Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina - Best/most realistic pick so far IMO
8. 5th, Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati - It's possible he could last this long, but I really doubt it...if he does, it's a great pick
9. 5th, Dusitn Hopkins, K, Florida State - Solid
And this?
10. 6th, camp fodder/trade
11. 6th, camp fodder/trade
12. 7th, camp fodder/trade
13. 7th, camp fodder/trade
14. 7th, Comp – camp fodder
15. 7th, Comp – camp fodder
Just lazy, bro....

Yup I agree Carradine looks good. Would like to see him in a Niners uniform.

He's a DE, period. He could line up as DE in either a 4-3 scheme or a 3-4 scheme.
