Shamarko Thomas, S from Syracuse

Would absolutely LOVE to see the Niners draft him. Thomas, IMO, will prove to be the best safety in this draft. Not only did he run the fastest time for his position at the combine, he hits like a truck, and is a smart player. Shamarko improved each year at Syracuse. He is still getting better, and is flying under the radar. He has an incredible work ethic, and is more mature emotionally than just about anyone in the draft. He has been essentially raising his younger siblings for years since the death of his mother, and will do anything it takes to be successful on the field for their sake. He has shot up on mock draft boards to around the 5th best prospect at the position. With so many picks this season, I hope one of the Niners picks is used on him.
