After a extremely poor showing that the combine, lots of experts seem to think that he could drop to the late first round, or even to the second round. If he were somehow available at the 31st pick, would you guys take him?

I hate that the combine could drop a player when he was dominant in college. Pull out the game tapes.
I think if you're a top 10 player, the combine is a waste of time. It can only hurt you.
Don't know if he has character issues and such, but I'd take him. Dominant pass rushers are priceless.

His fitness makes him a gamble. What are you going to get witty this guy? Slob or workout warrior? But to be honest he's no different than most of the other pass rushers. Look at all the top name and try to give me 3 that are nfl ready.

Harbaugh and Baalke have said over and over that they watch tape to assess a player, that the combine only tells so much. If he falls to 31 (which I doubt he will) I think they'd run their pick to Goodell.

Unless Damontre Moore can play defensive end in the 3-4, Baalke is not going to take him in the first.
We have four All Pro linebackers. We need back ups at linebacker and not a good idea to draft a back up in the first round.

This guy is just as good ad Aldon. Your saying you wouldnt be down for that double trouble?

We need more pass rush badly. It's probably one of the biggest reasons we lost in the Superbowl and gave up so many yards to Matt Ryan. If we can get a pass rusher like Damontre Moore (I don't think he'll be there either", we have to take it.

Saying that Damontre Moore is as good as Aldon Smith is, at best, a major exaggeration.
In his two years in the NFL, Aldon has accumulated more sacks than any other player in the history of the league has had in his first two years in the league.
Damontre Moore has not played a snap in the NFL.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet After 12 bench reps at the Combine, Texas A&M DE Damontre Moore benched 19 times at his pro day today. Some good news for him.

For both of them? Based on??
Lemme guess-
Damontre Moore because of his bench press and 40 at the combine.
Sylvester because...he's a DT from UNC

based on people who claim to know what they are talking about LOL
it just seems to be a consensus view with a lot of the analysts. Just the comments i hear "his motor runs hot and cold, can disappear during games, doesn't seem to give 100% effort on every play"
