Does his aggression make up for his lack of height ?

Not sure you can ever have a real shut-down nickel corner, but he does seem to have the toughness and the short-are quickness to cover most slot NFL WRs. Plus, teams these days probably run just as much nickel as they do their base defense, so nickel DBs are almost like starters. If the honey badger impresses at the combine and shows he can be a mature, reliable adult, he could get drafted in the 3rd/4th round. I'd consider taking him the late 4th.

5th round. Small, not that fast, and off the field issues. Dont see him as a "shutdown nickel back" at all.

Agree with eveything u said.. Shut-down nickel corner definitely isnt the best terminology... And nickel is played now more than ever... But i think he could surely turn into one of the better nickel corners in the league... As long as he interviews truthfully, matures, and shows he has a consistant work ethic i would love him in the 4th...

Not blazing speed but he is very quick... Definitely quicker than fast like most slot recievers.. i shouldn't have said shutdown nickel back but i do think he could potentially be a very good nickel... Completely understand u not wanting to take a chance on somebody who is undersized with major off field issues

Gilbert dropped a sure INT to send his team to the fiesta bowl now lost... NOT a big player imo

I was actually impressed with his coverage most of the game. He's very physical yet sound fundamentally. I think he may be one of the fastest DBs.
Ifo please. I'd like to have a bigger corner, but as far as play-making corners goes, Ifo has to be atop the list in this year's draft. Still hasn't announced if he'll declare or not, but I think he will and he'll be a 1st rounder for sure.

Of all the Oregon players that came out of the draft the past 3 or so years, I think he's the best NFL prospect; even better than Dion Jordan, LaMike, Kenjon, Kiko Alonso etc.

Oregon has also historically pumped some very nice DBs into the NFL (TJ Ward, Jairus Byrd, Walter Thurmond, Patrick Chung, Eddie Pleasant)

This. Give me Gilbert or Dennard please and I'll be happy as hell.

You realize how lame this sounds? "Oh no, he dropped an INT...dude sucks balls." Forgot about season after season of playing outstanding in coverage and being a playmaker and a ballhawk, he dropped 1 INT, dude's worthless now.
