Gerogia DL was humiliated by Alabama and Nebrasks running game. I will not touch Jenkins and anybody amongs DL teammates until third round

Another RB with two re-constructed knees? We struck gold with Gore. Don't think it happens again with Lattimore.

Its a gamble no doubt. I thought we were nuts when we took gore. As many picks as we have it might be worth a shot. Its not like he needs to carry the whole load!Originally posted by mayo49:Another RB with two re-constructed knees? We struck gold with Gore. Don't think it happens again with Lattimore.

This. These are average players in your mock at best. Doesn't seem to make our team a hole lot better.

BOOOOOOOOOO.....No more Wisconsin linemen.
You know what some of the crappiest OL's around the league have in common? Offensive lineman from Wisconsin. :P

Yes of course, because you ignore the rest of the team and the remainder of the season's body of work. Jenkins is a guy who's requiring two guys to block, he's very active as an NT and is a definite pass-rushing threat.

I personally think Frederick is a much better prospect than the last few lineman to come out of wisconsin.

Average Players at best? Care to add more? By not adding more it leads me to beleive you dont really know who most are, and thats fine, but that doesnt make them bad picks just because you dont know who they are.

IMO its worth a shot in the 4th. Modern medicine and recovery have come a long way even since we drafted Gore. Look what AP did after coming off his injury this year. Not saying its the same, but e could afford to give Lattimore time to regain strength. We dont need him to contribute right away.

Margus Hunt- DE- Southern Methodist-6-7, 280, rSR Second round:Own pick
Travis Frederick- C- Wisconsin- 6-4, 338, rJRThird round:From Carolina in trade-back during 2012
Phillip Thomas- Fresno State- S- 6-1, 215, rSR Fourth round:Own pick
Marcus Lattimore-RB- South Carolina- 6-0, 220, JRFourth round-
6th Aaron Mellette-Elon-WR- 6-3, 218, rSR

Are you kidding me, Lattimore for a low 4th round pick. Of course that is worth the risk. You have him ride the pine next season and rehab, Walsh was famous for taking studs with injuries and letting them heal.

I think next year with Haralson hopefully healthy, that will take some presure off of Aldon. I could see him going back to more of just a pass russing role and that should help keep him fresh over the long haul. We still have Flemming and Johnson to develope, and i have us taking Willie Jefferson in the 7th who projects to be a 3-4 pass rush OLB project with alot of upside.
I have us taking Jenkins in the first since i think he will be the only NT left on the board when we pick worthy of a late first, and i think NT is the biggest position of need right now.
Thanks for your imput man.

Thats kind of the ay i feel. I dont know that i would take him in the third, but if he made it to the fourth, which IMO is my biggest stretch here in my mock(tried to keep it pretty realistic on who will be available) I would snag him in a heartbeat. Let him rehab and gain strength and hopefully be ready to rock full speed in a couple seasons when Frank gets closer to retirment and share carries in between.
