It didn't effect his play at all. He is athletic and finds throwing lanes. I'd say Alex Smith gets more batted down at 6'4" than Russell Wilson does at 5'11". Drew Brees is 6'0". We are talking about 1 inch of difference here. Wilson can play if you watch him. And he doesn't have many batted balls.

This guy has a lot of talent, but his lack of height is a huge obstacle for him to overcome. He should watch tape of Drew Brees, and study how he moves within the pocket and creates throwing lanes for himself. I think Wilson is going to be a pretty good player, but hopefully not for Seattle.

I'm a huge Big Ten fan and even bigger Wisconsin fan. Have some relatives in that state. I've seen almost every one of his games. Dude is scary good. Just rediculous accuracy, great velocity, every decision he makes is the right one. Athleticism is 2nd to none. He has no flaws other than height. And his athleticism allows him to find the throwing lanes so it doesn't effect him much. I think he is just tremendous and don't like having to play against him. He will surpise people. Much better than they think. They don't have a clue. Probably never watched him ever. LOL. And just read he is 5'11".
