C/s. Some ppl want Haralson cut b/c they caught up in trying to play armchair gm and save a few bucks. We don't even know if Aldon can play OLB all 3 downs yet. I would keep Haralson for one more season to help Aldon and a rookie. Then cut him.

I'd say the need is greater for an OG over a C. Kilgore could end up being the RG, but if you can draft a stud, why not. Why 2 OLB's? With Haralson in his final contract year, any more than one seems too much. I'll piggy back on the calls for a RB. Now's the time to pick Gore's eventual replacement...he's wearing down, so draft a stud this year, let him learn the offense with limited PT his first year, then take over in his 2nd. For that, Doug Martin's the guy...best all-around RB in this draft and he returns kicks. If not Martin, then take Turbin.
Line of thinking is the "studs" are gone and we get he 2nd best C in the draft. And Jones could play OG if need be, wouldn't be that big of a transition.
Parys still has another year on this contract, this isn't his last year.

Sorry man but I dont like it for these reasons:
* 2 OLB with your top 4 picks. Makes no sense to me when we just resigned Brooks.
* OG - the Niners most critical need is not addressed
Replace Irvin with someone like Brandon Brooks in round 2 and then I would be happy with it.
The problem we will have this year is drafting late. Brooks could easily be the 4/5 OG taken, with DeCastro, Konz, and Glenn going in the first Brooks has a good chance of getting over drafted by a team based on need (depends on how fast Zeitler goes). Being at the back of pack its smarter to predict who really should be there then who might be. I would prefer Zeitler but his name has picked up traction and unless we trade back I don't see us getting him.
Irvin has starting potential and we need to keep a rotation going at OLB. Parys offers no sack threat so his spot is shaky, couple that with his contract $$$ and he is replaceable. It is in that sense that Irvin could walk into the #3 spot and gets occasional snaps and Mos becomes a cheap emergency option. And it does go back to BPA, Irvin at 60 is a steal...just needs to stay out of trouble.
Given the situation I would rather release Parys and spend that money on a FA OG that gets released after final cuts. And don't slouch on Jones the kid has talent.
