A little help from the Zone: Did any draft sites predict we would draft Aldon Smith?

Mods: You can lock this thread up after I get a solid answer.

I have searched several different ways, but I cant seem to find anything from any sites that had us drafting Aldon Smith.

Do any of you know of any?

Most mocks i've seen had him going to Houston

Wade Phillips had a hard on for Aldon, real talk.

Yes, I recall that Aldon was slotted at the 10-15 range.

I don't remember a single site predicting the 49ers to draft him at #7. If there were, I would be really interested in seeing how they predict this years draft.

Mcshay had us taking Aldon in one of his mocks

None that I saw, but when we were on the clock I was yelling for Aldon or Quinn. Can I haz cookie?

Man I can't wait to see what surprise Baalke and Harbaugh have for us this year. I have a feeling we will not be staying at #30, either trading up or down.

I can't wait to see whet Baalke/JH have up their sleeves.

Cam Inman tweeted that off all of our pre-draft visits only Kaepernick, Hunter and Hastings were either drafted or signed to the team in 2011 so we really wont have a bloody clue who we will be taking at 30.

Aldon not visiting us probably threw off all the draftniks.

Do they ever get our team's top pick right? Did many teams see us picking a.Davis/Iupati or Crabtree?

Don't know about Davis/Iupati, but I don't think many expected Crabtree to drop to us. A whole lot of people were scratching their heads when the Raiders passed on him to get DHB.

Yeah something unexpected like that always happens. I doubt anyone saw us trading up and taking TWO OL that's for sure but it was a need and one or the other probably ended up mocked at our spot, but I don't remember. Crab probably fell because he didn't run at the combine or pro day and Davis was always a stop watch drafter at skill positions.

So who knows, someone falls to us, or we pull of some crazy trade scenario.

This guy had us had good run going. Got it right 05, 06,and 07.
