AB's Final Mock before Free Agency

My Last Mock before Free Agency starts tomorrow at 4PM eastern. Current Signings/Re-Signings/Tenders: SS C.J. Spillman- 3yr/$4.2M deal($1.08M 2012 figure) OLB Ahmad Brooks- 6yr/$42.5M max($2.85M 2012 figure) DE Will Tukuafu- 2yr Minimum deal, no bonus money($465K 2012 figure) CB Tramaine Brock- 1yr/$540K deal ILB Larry Grant- 1-year RFA tender of $1.26M FS Dashon Goldson- 1-year Franchise tag of $6.2M WR Randy Moss- 1-year deal, I'm gonna say for $1M With the extra $1.6M from the uncapped year cheating, we have $20.444.264M under cap. Now lets take Shawntae Spencer and release him, saving $2.91M, putting us up to $23,354,264M under. I'm gonna take off $3M for draft picks, leaves us $20,543,264M under to start signings. Obvious 2 signings begin. QB Alex Smith- 3-year deal worth $22.5M, average of $7.5M, with some incentives, but not a lot. Includes a few roster bonuses each year, breakdown is. 2012- $750K base and $4M roster bonus = $4.75M 2013- $3.5M base and $5M roster bonus = $8.5M 2014- $4.25M base and $5M roster bonus = $9.25M ILB Blake Costanzo- 4-year deal worth $6M 2012- $750K base and $375K in pro-rated SB = $1.125M 2013- $1M base and $375K pro-rated SB = $1.375M 2014- $1.225M base and $375K pro-rated SB = $1.6M 2015- $1.525M base and $375K pro-rated SB = $1.9M Ok with those 2 signings, we have now $14,668,264M under. Also with these signings we would have $108,637,288M committed for 2013, including projection for 2012 draft picks. Now is interesting part. I say sign Ginn and Snyder. Ginn gets a 2yr deal worth $5M, Ginn gets $2M for 2012, $2.5M in 2013 Snyder gets 2yr deal worth $6M, Snyder gets $2.5M in 2012, $3.5M in 2013. Now gives us $10,168,264M under, and committed for 2013 up to $114,637,288M. Now also keep in mind we gain $390K each player we sign, so $390K times 4 is $1.56M, brings us to $11,728,264M under. Now I am re-signing Rogers, might go a different route, but I'm hoping for Rogers. He gets a 4-year deal worth $24M, a average of $6M. 2012- $750K base, $500K in pro-rated SB and $3M roster bonus = $4.25M 2013- $2M base, $500K SB and $4M roster bonus = $6M 2014- $3.5M base, $500K SB and $2M roster bonus = $6M 2015- $4.25M base, $500K SB and $3M roster bonus = $7.75M Brings us down, with the added $390K, to $7,868,264M under. Now, decision, sign Morgan or a big WR, I say Vincent Jackson. 5-year deal, averaging $8.5M, total of $42.5M. First year cap figure of $5M, lower us to, with extra $390K, to $3,258,264M under. So, we signed the following, Spillman, Brooks, Moss, Tukuafu, Brock, Goldson(hope for long term deal), Alex, Rogers, Costanzo, Jackson, Snyder and Ginn, with Grant as toss up. I appreciate your #s and this mock although I would rather have Fleener and don't see Zeitler making it to us.

I am little worried about Jackson, Moss, VD and Crabtree all on the same team. Too many personalities. I think it is volatile without Jackson as it is.

With Crabtree, Jackson and Moss, when would Sanu play? Fleener makes better sense. Zeitler or Konz at #30 might make the best sense.

I see us keeping Williams as part of the 5 WRs. I really hope Ginn comes back, but I don't think he will sadly. Ginn is more important than Rogers, in my opinion, because of he's more irreplaceable.

I now see the 5 WRs being something like Crabtree, Moss, Williams, Early Draft WR, Later Free Agent Signing WR/Later Draft Pick.

I really want to see Ginn and Rogers both come back though. Both are needed dearly. And I sure as hell don't want to see Williams back there returner kicks again...

i love everything except the 1st round. I hate to sound repetitive to what everyone else is saying but yea Fleener instead of Sanu would be better.

If we pick fleener instead we would have a very dangerous offense.

i agree. and yeahh Zeitler might be gone by then. Brandon Brooks in the 3-4 mite hold good value though
