If RG3 becomes the Michael Jordan of football?

Yeah Rams won't be able to live that down
They could have gotten Dree Brees for less... And he is a sure hall of fame QB

Rams raped the Skins. I would make that trade in a heartbeat, even if Justin Blackmon is on the board which he will be. Robert Griffin is not worth 3 1st round picks AND a 2nd round pick. Shoot, I'd only trade 2 1st round picks a 2nd and 4th for Andrew Luck. Redskins are morons!!! Tannehill would've been perfect for Shanahan.
You can't rape a willing participant who lays down, gap their legs wide open, and invites you in. There ought to be a law against this kind of stupidity. No unproven player is worth 3 first rounders. Hell no proven player is for that matter. I can just imagine how Redskins vets feel about their front office making such a boneheaded deal. I just hate it was a division rival that got it. I pray that the Rams have crappy scouts. I kind of feel this is kind of unfare to RG3. With that type of deal made just to get him he is going to come in with sooooooo much pressure to be the next Doug Williams. Anything less than that and he will be seen as a bust.

Hard to even dignify that with a response.

Saying Williams was good is probably funnier than saying Trent Dilfer was good.

Oh, you are right. I forgot about the NFL's Affirmative Action policy on Super Bowls. Every once in a while they must let a terrible or minority QB win for the sake of quality. And you know what? The NFL is due for another one. So Tim Tebow, Kyle Orton, Curtis Painter, or Mark Sanchez, Tarvaris Jackson, Josh Freeman should be in consideration for the NFL's 2012 automatic SB bid.

Doug Williams.
38-42 record
Sub 50% completion percentage
69.4 career QB rating.

Yeah , ok buddy! I'm sure the Redskins will call that a good trade for RG3 if they get a career like that out of RG3 LOL!!!!

Jeff Hostetler's career blew Williams career out of the water!!

Williams only had part of a good year and took over for a team with exceptional Wrs and an ol as well. So he didn't do much, had a couple of great games with an even greater supporting cast.

Can't argue with his career numbers which really blow

Fisher didn't control the drafts in Tennessee though. Also, Fisher is THE most over rated coach of this generation!

Isn't he barely over .500? With George and McNair for a good length of time

Exactly. Yet everyone is on his nuts, like he is some amazing coach. The media loves him and pumps him up, so everyone things he is great. He has never won a Super Bowl, and has only ever been once. And only has a small handful of playoff wins, even. This is the head coach that tried to force "Air" McNair to be a pure pocket passer, and the same coach that couldn't find a way to get Kenny Britt and Randy Moss on the field because "they play the same position". Yeah, who ever heard of having two WR's on the field at the same time??

BTW, Eddie George was horrible too.

What? 4-time Pro Bowler, two-time All Pro, Rookie of the Year honors, started his career with FIVE straight 1000+ yard seasons, and FOUR 1300+ yard seasons among those (the one he didn't, he had 1294). He is a member of the 10000 yards rushing club and only rushed below 1000 yards twice in his entire career, one of them being his last before retiring because of injuries.
Eddie was good just never above 4 yards a carry and that is not good.

Did you ever actually watch him play? Numbers can be very misleading. It's not that hard to get 1,000 yards when you're handed the ball 350-400 times, and running behind several Pro Bowl (and a couple of Hall Of Fame) offensive linemen. His career average is like 3.4 or 3.6 yards per carry, and he only broke 4 ypc TWICE in his entire career - and that was just barely.
