Yes I know.
They still have a horrible defense and no offense besides Jackson.
Yes and FIVE #1 picks and FOUR #2 picks in the next 3 years. Washington will suck with a rookie QB next year so the pick will be high. Unless the Rams totally screw this up they will be back.

Hardly a positive note. If we got a s**t ton of free first round picks would ya'll be complaining that we have to "spend a lot of money" on them? Cmon...

Redskins 2012
Pick 2
--------------------------
Rams 2012
Pick 6, Their own 2nd round pick, Redskins 2nd round
Rams 2013
Their 1st Round Pick, Their own 2nd round pick
Rams 2014
their 1st Round Pick, Redskins 1st Round Pick, their own 2nd round pick
So technically with their picks they have 5 1st rounders and 4 2nd rounders in the next 3 years. If they do well and hit on most of these they should be Super Bowl Contenders. Big thanks to Washington, Rams fans have to be elated.

the worst part is with the new CBA having 2 first round picks for 3 straight years is even more valuable than it was 2 years ago. they are not going to have rediculous contracts to carry.

What would really scare me would be if they drafted blackmon this year, then later chose to give one first signing mike wallace. Bradford, Blackmon, and Wallace would be scary as hell

Cant happen. They would have to give Pittsburgh their first round pick this year if they signed Wallace. They dont have 2 firsts this year.

So, Washington has RG3 now... but who's gonna protect him and who's he going to throw to?

They will be big players in free agency.

He might get a WR or two, but how's he going to throw to them when he's getting blasted by the Giants', the Cowboys' and the Eagles' good defensive rushes?
I have no idea who is even on the line in Washington. Maybe I'll go do some research...
Also, where's AB? What's Washington's cap look like? lol

Redskins have over 30 million in cap room, Rams have about 10. RG III and VJax? Who knows but they will have to spend knowing that they will not be able to supplement their roster with first round talent in the coming years. Looks like their "build through the draft" strategy fell wayside to their old habits.

I think he will be a very good QB, can only really judge this trade a few years from now. However, my first comparison was Herschel Walker II. If the Rams can parlay this into a Cowboys style resurgence, we lose out big time. They didn't give up as much as Minny did and there were a lot more moving parts in that deal but impact wise, this has the potential to be massive.
