Post Combine Draft Targets

Spillman and Brooks have resigned. I'm somewhat torn on which direction to go in round 1. Last week I would have said Sanu was a 1st round target and Stephen Hill would be available in the 2nd. Indy changed alot. Here are some players Harbaalke could be looking at each round. I'm still working on an updated mock.

Round 1
Stephen Hill WR
Coby Fleener TE
Kendall Reyes DE/DT
Stephon Gilmore CB
Kendall Wright WR
Rueban Randle WR
Cordy Glenn OG
Devon Still DE/DT
Fletcher Cox DE/DT
Michael Brockers DE/DT

Round 2
Chase Minnifield CB
Trumaine Johnson CB
Jayron Hosley CB/KR
Tommy Streeter WR
Mohamed Sanu WR
Alshon Jeffery WR
Jered Crick DE/DT
Bruce Irvin OLB
Ronnell Lewis OLB
Doug Martin RB
Chris Polk RB
LeMichael James RB/KR
Kevin Zeitler OG

Round 3
Marvin Jones WR
Dwight Jones WR
Marvin McNutt WR
Casey Hayward CB
Josh Norman CB
Dwight Bentley CB
Jamell Fleming CB
Billy Winn DE/DT
Ladarious Green TE

Round 4
Keeston Randle DE/DT
T.Y. Hilton WR/KR
Brian Quick WR
Ryan Broyles WR/KR
Jeff Fuller WR
Joe Adams WR/KR
Lucas Nix OG
Lonnie Edwards OG
Michael Egnew TE

Round 5-7
Asa Jackson CB
Donnie Fletcher CB
Devon Wylie WR/KR
Robert Turbin RB
Vick Ballard RB
George Iloka SS

That is a good list. One question for you. Looks like you have only a couple of OLB/DE types slotted in the second round. Even with Brooks signed long term, where are the mid to late round options at that position of need?

I would add Shea McClellin from Boise St to the list in the 2nd or 3rd and maybe Jonathan Massoquoi from Troy and the ever present Jacquies Smith from Missouri in the 5-7 round range.

Would make my year but no way does Turbin fall that far and I'd bet Streeter goes earlier too. But lets dream a little dream!!

Round 1
Stephen Hill WR- Probably off the board
Coby Fleener TE- Does not make sense for a team that probably needs a new starting CB, an interior lineman or two, and maybe a safety
Kendall Reyes DE/DT
Stephon Gilmore CB- Will be gone before 30
Kendall Wright WR- Will be off the board
Rueban Randle WR
Cordy Glenn OG- Will be long, long gone.
Devon Still DE/DT
Fletcher Cox DE/DT
Michael Brockers DE/DT- Will be off the board

Round 2
Chase Minnifield CB
Trumaine Johnson CB
Jayron Hosley CB/KR
Tommy Streeter WR
Mohamed Sanu WR- Will be off the board
Alshon Jeffery WR
Jered Crick DE/DT
Bruce Irvin OLB- Will be off the board
Ronnell Lewis OLB
Doug Martin RB- Will be off the board
Chris Polk RB- Looks like he is headed to the 4th round at best right now
LeMichael James RB/KR
Kevin Zeitler OG

Round 3
Marvin Jones WR (Great third round value; not sure if he will be there at this point)
Dwight Jones WR- 80% chance will go undrafted. He is not even competing at this point.
Marvin McNutt WR
Casey Hayward CB
Josh Norman CB- Doubtful he is on the board
Dwight Bentley CB- Doubtful he is on the board at this point
Jamell Fleming CB
Billy Winn DE/DT
Ladarious Green TE

Round 4
Keeston Randle DE/DT
T.Y. Hilton WR/KR- Still awaiting his 40 time. I think it will be really quick, and he will go top 125 picks.
Brian Quick WR- Will be off the board. Way too much upside to be outside top 125 picks.
Ryan Broyles WR/KR
Jeff Fuller WR
Joe Adams WR/KR- Will be off the board, simply due to outstanding PR skills
Lucas Nix OG
Lonnie Edwards OG
Michael Egnew TE

Round 5-7
Asa Jackson CB
Donnie Fletcher CB
Devon Wylie WR/KR- Won't be on the board
Robert Turbin RB- Won't be on the board
Vick Ballard RB- Doubtful on the board.
George Iloka SS- Probably a top 100 pick

Nice effort. Here are some of my thoughts on the above list. I think you should add Brandon Brooks as a second round target, but I am not sure he will even be there at this point.

Okay why are people listing Turbin as such a late round prospect? He received a 3rd round grade from the advisory board and torched the combine, there is no way he is a day 3 prospect.

I agree on McCellin in the 3rd and J Smith 5-6 range as prospects. However with Brooks resigning, I don't consider OLB a huge need. Aldon and Brooks start, Haralson rotational backup, and Tavaras Gooden can play the position in a pinch. Whoever we may draft or sign won't see the field much in 2012....My mock will address this somehow. Still working

I included players I thought would realisticallly be there when we select. I left off many players I thought would be selected early in certain rounds. If all those players are off the board then some quality guys drop....
