tells what picks everyone got, how many they got, who they gained and lost

Nice find. Green Bay got 4 picks(2 4ths and 2 7ths)

Yeah, like they need it. Nah, they lost Cullen Jenkins, Daryn Coolidge who were near pro bowl players but it helps when they don't sign anyone. You lose 5 guys and sign nobody to count against you that says it all.

^ Thanks AB. Yeah, that's ok that we aren't getting comp picks. Means we are taking care of our own and any guys we do lose we are replacing them. 3rd, 4th and 5th round comp picks are nice like with the Raiders but Asomough, Miller, Gallery meant a lot more to the team than that.

P.S. Baas' deal was 5 year 27.5 mil

yeah. It is nice to have extra 3rd, 4th and 5th rd picks, but I would rather replace lost players with quality and known players then risk it and have a 3rd-7th rd guy, not saying they cant succeed, look at Bowman, but still rather take a guy like Manningham and Johnson. Like last year lost Clements when cut, then added Rogers, now he is signed through 2015. Lost Baas, got a good C in Goodwin, will need a future guy, maybe it's Kilgore, if he doesn't work at RG or Person. Whitner was a good signing, especially when we did trade Mays, who sucked. And then Spikes was good to let go of when Bowman was ready.

2010 draft was a good one IMO. I had at the time Iupati, A.Davis and Bowman all in my 1st Round Mock. And last year I had Aldon in top 15, along with Hunter, Kaep and Culliver in 2nd-3rd round guys. Had Miller in 4th-5th rd as a DE/OLB.

Baalke really has done a great jon so far in draft and FA.

Lost Clements Replaced with Rogers
Lost Spikes replaced with Bowman
Lost Franklin replaced with Sopoaga
Lost Manny replaced with Aldon
Traded Mays replaced with Whitner (Also replaced Michael Lewis)

Then like said Drafted a few good Lineman, Iupati and Davis. Only bad pick was Mays, but that was a singletary pick, Baalke wanted Clausen, which I would of been fine with. But it hurts as Morgan Burnett went way after our 2nd rd pick, and Javier Arenas went the next pick after Mays to KC.

Packers are another example of drafting and developing over signing big FAs. Just like Pats and Steelers. I want that for us, draft to build, supplement in FA.
I liked Burnett but didn't like Mays or Clausen. Still if we were hell bent on taking Mays at least we took him at 49 and made him a SS than 17 and a FS. I wouldn't have gotten rid of him so fast especially for a future 7th rounder. Everything worked out though. Agreed though, glad we are building like the Steelers, Pats, Packers and not like Washington or the Raiders. I'd go crazy if the 9ers continuously traded away all their draft picks. Sure signing free agents is fun but usually it doesn't work out and you almost always over pay them (except in our case )

I mentioned this before but I looked up our draft history a few weeks ago and I was looking at 3rd rounders which we have struggled with and Baalke hit as many times (Bowman, Culliver) in the 3rd round as our previous 9 drafts.

Yeah the 3rd round has been kind to us.

05 was a good one with Gore, and Snyder.
07 was McDonald
10 was Bowman
11 was Culliver

1st rd was also nice

06 Vernon
07 Willis and Staley
10 Iupati and A.Davis
11 Aldon

Though we had a few bad ones

06 Lawson (He just didn't fit the scheme)
08 Balmer (Yuck)

While 09 with Crabtree has been a wait and see.

We've been doing good draft wise lately. Have had some good pick each year, outside of 08, where the entire draft class outside of Grant is a 49er, and he may not be here if he gets an offer sheet.

09 only ones left are Crabtree and RJF.
Also 07 was a real good draft, have 5 starters from that year if you include Goldson and Brown.
Updated picks

49ers 2012 draft pick
Round 1: No. 30 (No. 30 overall)
Round 2: No. 29 (No. 61 overall)
Round 3: No. 29 (No. 92 overall)
Round 4: No. 30 (No. 125 overall)
Round 5: No. 30 (No. 165 overall)
Round 6: No. 30 (No. 200 overall)
Round 7: No. 30 (No. 237 overall)

--49ers will pick 29th in second round because of New Orleans Saints' forfeiture of second-round pick for penalties related to team's bounty program.

--49ers will pick 29th in the third round because the Raiders used their third-round selection last year to select QB Terrelle Pryor in the supplemental draft.
