Hey everybody, im new to the board
49ers fan since the late 70's
My picks are not like urs although I
do have us trading with the fishes so that
means we should get 4 impact players.
Coby Fleener
the redzone threat we need
Desmond Trufant
fast, good cover man, excellamt tackler
Derek Wolfe
complete game, will b in rotation until Justin Smith
cant go anymore. In t yrs he will b our starter
Marvin McNutt
good size, hands and speed, an absolute steal to get
him at this pick
Ive seen tjese guys play and think all 4 of them can help us next
Season

good look at possible offseason.
I'd bet Alex is gonna get something more like 30 mil + incentives over 4 years. Alex and his agent want him to stay with Jim but won't take an overly weak offer considering what guys like (name?) from the Cardinals got last year.
I still don't know if Trent wants to pay Brooks that much.
If we trade down like you think, I'd bet Trent has a DE/OLB figured with one of those 2nd round picks.
I also think Crabtree is gonna be on the trade block. Not panning out as hoped and has value and Trent is probably thinking he will leave as soon as he gets a chance so maybe its time to strike and get something in return?

He didn't have Luck throwing him passes and still put up similar numbers. I'm not as in love with Fleener as alot of zoners are and don't think we should spend a 1st on him. I'd much rather have a future starting DE and CB out of that 1st pick, which is what we recieved in the proposed trade. And still be able to get a 6'6 TE to stretch the seam. I also believe Crabtree to be a great #2 WR, however top CB's can shut him down.
No he's not. Fleener is 6'6" and 250ish.......Green is about 15-20 pounds lighter depending on which source you use, although we'll know for sure after the combine.
Green is also raw as all hell. He's basically a possession WR at this point, his blocking will take a lot of work, he wasn't asked to block much at all in college and that's the area where people expect him to struggle. He's also going to have to bulk up to play the position in the NFL. Fleener is the guy that's ready to go, who already knows the offensive system, Green is a project that will take work in learning a pro style offense and developing as a blocker among other things.
TE's weighed in today at the combine: Fleener AKA webzone god 247, Green 238....9 lbs on a 22 year old aint much...Green had the groups largest hands also...I think they run Saturday if not tomorrow

I could grow to like that offseason very much. My favorite moves are picking up Meachem and Hill. The Reyes move isn't bad either.

Yeah i was a 190lb CB and could hit 225 20 times. My guess is he has never really hit the weights and naturally 6'6 and 238, which is actually more impressive to me. Alot of people want him to be a WR, or say he's just a big WR.....Last I checked we have Vernon Davis. So any TE coming in is gonna be #2. Regardless of what Green cant do, he's 6'6 238 and runs a 4.5.....Of all the big WR wev'e talked about Sanu, Streeter, McNutt, Criner, Hill....How many of those smaller receivers will run better then Green? He's a weopon I would love to have, especially in round 3.... He won't last that long!
