We all know that we need a WR for next season. But we can't sign Ted Ginn, we are screwed because i don't trust KW. So I say kill two birds with one stone.
To all you draft gurus on the Zone, who are some WR that are also KR/PR that are available in the upcoming draft?

dont kno much about receivers that are KR/PR but we can still get two birds with one stone by going after CB brandon boykin who is almost as electrifying as Patrick Peterson in the return game and will help out our secondary. Hes project late 2nd-3rd round

Jordan White is actually fairly skilled at PR
Last year 17 att for 222 yards with a long of 64 and 6 FCs
2010 he had 21 att for 128 yards with a long of 18 and 22 FCs.
2009 he had 11 att for 93 yards with a long of 40 and 9 FCs.
He clearly had some issues during 2010 but it is pretty obvious that he can be trusted returning punts. He only had one KR and it was in 2010 for 19 yards.

talk at the Senior Bowl is that RB Chris Rainey could make a transition to WR while starting out as a McCluster type player.

I like Keshawn Martin. He made two amazing plays (one catch, one punt return) at the end of the Big 10 Championship game to try and get the win for his Spartans. Unfortunately for him, neither play counted. But he showed that he can step up in big game situations.
Seems like someone we could get later in the draft. Maybe after drafting another WR earlier....

I like Jordan White with a late round pick, very good fluid receiver, good hands, bad injury history will scare away a lot of teams but nothing worse than what Gore went through. Capable of helping out on special teams as well as a legit receiving threat, made a thread about him in this section.

White looks like a very smart reciever and would be a great pick up if we wernt looking to upgrade at the reviever position. But we're really looking for that Big Redzone target and that player that can blow the top off of a defense. White looks more like a #2 reciever and we already have that in Josh Morgan and Crabtree. If he last til FA, sign him to PS and then let him destroy his competition. He's better than Hastings and Swain to me. BUt also, that injury history is redflag.

Janoris Jenkins is a CB, but also a potential Niners pick. He could be an incredible return man.
Chris Givens is a WR that could be drafted, is great for the WCO, and can be a quality KR.

You are correct but Morgan is still a free agent and until we ink him to that deal we need to presume he could leave. I'd personally take White over Ginn or Williams. Ginn has mad speed but you just need vision to break off good punt returns(see Keshawn Martin's PR in the bowl game. Cant believe I forget him in my list).

Givens has only returned 2 punts according to espn. being a KR is different then handling punts. we need someone who has extensive experience handling both types of returns.
