I think the Eagles could use a playmaker with return skills here in the 3rd, especially if they let Jackson walk. I think RB Isaiah Pead out of Cincinnati would make a lot of sense for the Eagles. Showed his return skills at the Senior Bowl, can catch passes out of the backfield and would give the offense another weapon. The Eagles need a backup RB with Ronnie Brown not likely returning, and IMO Pead would compliment McCoy well in this offense.
It's either him or an OLB IMO, and I don't see an OLB that would be as valuable as Pead would be to the Eagles here in the 3rd.
JMHO.

Pead would be a good pick on offense or someone like Shea McClellin OLB from Boise St.

there is a very realistic chance the jets will cut/trade santnio holmes and lose buress
they already gor floyd in round 1 but need to go with another WR
the jets select brian quick
having two WR both over 6 3 and both will speed and great hands should help sanchez a lot as well as give him 2 legit red zone threats

I think the Jets will keep Holmes, but I still like them picking two WR's early in this draft. They need weapons, regardless if they keep Holmes or not. Good pick IMO.

The Jets need OL and RB's, too. Maybe a little overkill on the WR's.

Yep, and supposedly Sanchez and Holmes are trying to work it out. Rex Ryan has actually been trying to encourage them to work out their differences. We'll see, but I fully expect Holmes to return to the Jets. If he's still on the team by wednesday, then it's pretty much guaranteed. He's owed a $7.75 million dollars in guarantees, and if he's still on the team by this wed, then it jumps up to $15 million.
Even with Holmes returning though, they need WR's. Kerley is a decent #4 WR/RS, but drafting two Wr's early wouldn't be surprising even with Holmes coming back. I doubt they do it with needs at OL, OLB and FS, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets try to put Sanchez in the best possible situation to succeed.
