Brian Quick - WR - Appalachian State

He looks good. What's his height/weight and any ideas about his work ethic ?

For now, I'd take Stephen Hill in the 2nd round over him. He might be a nice 3rd - 4th rounder tho

A lot of stat sites list him at 6 - 5 but ESPN has him listed at 6 - 3 1/2 on the draft site.

Thrives in the air where he is aggressive and strong-handed, routinely posting up smaller defensive backs and taking throws off their helmets. Surprisingly strong and competitive after the catch and works hard to stalk-block. Has some concentration drops and could require patience grasping an NFL playbook but is coachable and has big upside in a West Coast system.

He doesn't need to know who playbook on week 1. Especially sense Morgan will likely start opposite Crabtree, whoever we draft will only play situational football for the first year anyway(i.e. 3rd and long and red zone packages). If we wanted a day 1 starter we wouldn't re-sign Morgan and we'd trade up for Jeffery or Floyd.

Morgan has been a starter. Ginn has been a starter. Williams has been a starter. Whoever we draft needs to be able to contribute right out of the gates. If we are only using a WR for the RZ then we are broadcasting what we are going to do. We need an impact WR and that can come from any round.
