I also wanted Matthews too, but just couldn't see him fitting into our 3-4 defense. After all we do have Bowman and wouldn't be a need for another Mike.

I'm just surprised we didn't add a NT in this draft, I guess they're counting on Franklin re-signing with little time free agency will be.

bet you were a pig in s**t with all the Hawaii boys getting drafted

Actually pretty shocked Pilares was drafted, Alex Green went so high.
Greg Salas and Kealoha Pilares and Stan Havili and Sione Fua

Player, position and the round they went in.

Allen Bailey DE (3rd)
Davon House CB (4th)
Chris Carter OLB (5th)
Quan Sturdivant ILB (6th)
Charles Clay FB (6th)
Jerrell Powe NT (6th)
Justin Rodgers CB (7th)
Chris Neild NT (7th)

Impressive list of value players at that point. Well-done. I think the team would have been better off with these guys than the ones we selected.

really? not after the proday he had. I think Pilares will have a better career then salas in the nfl, he is a much harder worker. Ya and green went much higher then i thought, could be a great 3rd down back though
Jeff Maehl

He just seems like the complimentary player to the big possession receivers we have in abundance. He gets open down field and in the seams between zone defenses and makes the catch. He moves the chains and scores points. Not worth a 7th round pick? Not sure about that.
Buster Skrine, only because I thought he has cool name.
peterson or prince and hankerson
Patrick Peterson
Ryan Mallet

Stanzi(better than kaepernick

Delone Carter( better running back than Hunter, but we took Hunter because of his "character" over Carter who had an arrest history)

Jerrel Powe

Question: Do you watch any tape of these college players when you cry about selections?

Don't hate you, just notice that you cry about selections without even evaluating them and going off the "experts" rankings.

Lame.
