Take pp and then stanzi in the third. We get probably the best player in the draft and then get a development qb that did well from a pro system and a smart player that harbaugh could coach. Our pass rush could try to be addressed after round three or through fa.
I think this would be worth it to get petersen.....would you make this move or be ok with it if balke did it?

Depends what we'd have to give up.
We have many needs which is why I'd rather trade down and accumulate picks.

I personally would prefer to trade back if miller or peterson isn't there. We have too many holes to fill to trade up.

Assuming we dwal for our 2nd and maybe a six.....not too sure the draft value chart equals a 2 and a 6but assuming we lose a second roundvpick i feel its worth it for this player

That would be trade up to #4 and yeah it would cost us a 2nd round pick and we get back a 4th or 5th. I`d rather stay put and grab prince, or maybe even trade back a few spots and still take Prince. That 2nd rd pick is potentially an impact player. I would hate to trade away a pick that could land a possible starter.

Unless you're talking about the next Ed Reed type DB

Why the hell would you trade into the top 5 and pay an unproven rookie millions with no rookie salary salary cap?

Sure would have been nice to lose that last game against Arizona.
Stupid niners, they even suck at tanking the season.

No we don't. We have one, big fat one. Peterson is the guy to fill that hole. IT'S WORTH IT!!!

If we had only one big hole to fill, we wouldn't have had a 6-10 record - you're dreaming. We need to fill QB, CB, OLB and NT as the main priorities as well as WR, RB, S and others. Don't think for a moment that we're one player from a championship because we're not, and to blow a 2nd rounder this way is nonsensical.

Prince will be a d*mn good corner in this league. No it's not worth it.
You take yourself out of position to pick Ponder or Dalton if they slip, and you fail to address our biggest need which is OLB.
I'm on the PP bandwagon too but not at that price.

To get to 4 we would have to give up like a 3rd and a 4th.

Yeah, we'd have to give up too much. I don't think we're getting Peterson. No way he gets past Arizona if Denver takes Von Miller, which looks like they will.

Trading up in this draft is a poor option at best
