the 49ers will have a 1rst round draft pick that will be in the #7 slot.

We draft Ryan Mallett in the 2nd round.

I'll make some, may be fun to look back and see what was right or wrong.

1.) Cam Newton and Blaine Gabbert will be league average QBs.
2.) Ponder will have another injury or injuries and a short NFL career.
3.) Hankerson will be the best WR from this draft.
4.) Von Miller will be a slightly better version of Maybin.
5.) Stanzi will be the best QB from this draft in 3 years, Locker will also be good, and Mallet will bust.
6.) The niners will make at least 1, and probably 2 trades before the end of the 2nd round.


That's all I can think of for now. Some of those are probably controversial, but I'll put them into the hat and see what the future holds.

PREDICTIONS

I'm going to get disagreements with this but....
1. Prince will be the best CB from this draft.
2. Peterson will be the best FS from this class.
3. Kerrigan will be picked outside the Top-15 but will prove he should have been at least Top-10.
4. Dion Lewis will be a steal for whoever picks him.
5. Bruce Miller will have at least a couple 7+ sack years.
6. Stanzi will go before the 4th Round and make that team look smart.
7. Ponder will fall into the 2nd and make the teams that passed on him look dumb.
8. Miller will have a few good years but won't validate his Top-7 draft position.
9. Sherrod will be the best OT of this draft.
10. Newton will be a bust and moved to TE (kidding about the move to TE), Gabbert will be ok, but not validate his draft position.

Cam Newton lives up to his status as the #1 overall pick in the draft.

1) Even though his stock seems to be falling, Fairley will have a Suh-like impact his rookie season.

2) OG/C John Moffitt will be the best interior O-lineman of this years class.

3) We'll stay put and take a good player at 7, but later regret not trading back for Phil Taylor.

4) South Carolina's Cliff Matthews and Tori Gurley will be mid-late round steals.

5) Much as I hate the thought, Greg Salas will end up with the Pats, Colts, Saints, or Rams and shine as a slot receiver.

Cam Newton will be the number 1 pick in the draft and The Bengals will draft Blaine Gabbert

The large cloud of weed smoke in the green room will belong to Ryan Mallett. The "green room" indeed.
