Your 49ers top 7 if you were making the board on draft day.
1.
Blaine Gabbert, QB
2.
Patrick Peterson, CB
3.
Von Miller, OLB
4.
Robert Quinn, DE/OLB
5.
Aldon Smith, DE/OLB
6.
Marcell Dareus, DT
7. If those 6 are off the board look to trade back for a team that is hungry for Cam Newton.

Cam Newton maybe? I have been thinking as well who I would be happy with them drafting at #7? At this point, the only ones that I would be excited about are the following:
QB:
Gabbert
Newton
CB:
Peterson
OLB
Miller

I'll be surprised if they take Gabbert or Newton even if they're available at the seven spot. There's just too many interesting QB's available in the second - Christian Ponder or possibly even Jake Locker.

That'd be great if we were picking at #3...

meaning rating the best available players as far as the Niners are concerned... I think the 49ers Big Board will be:
1. Von Miller
2. Robert Quinn
3. Patrick Peterson
4. Bowers
5. Prince
6. Gabbert
7. Fairley or Green (not a need)

Nice thought, Chief.
1. Von Miller
2. Patrick Peterson
3. Marcel Dareus
4. Robert Quinn
5. Cam Newton
6. Prince Amukamara
7. Blaine Gabbert
BTW, I would be trading after #4 for the record.

Value is sky high at that moment for the first QB off the board.

1. Any QB Jim Harbaugh thinks is worthy. Qb class is too crazy this year for me to even try and guess which one is going to be best but I trust Harbaugh on this subject. So if he thinks Gabbert, Newton, Locker, Malllet, Ponder, or kaepernick are THE guy then lets get them.
2. Von Miller
3. Peterson
4. Prince
5. Dareus
6. Farley
7. Bowers
Honorable mention JJ watt and the two Wrs Green and Jones.
