I am intrigued by him but IMO at 7 I don't know if I could take him over Miller and Quinn. I think if we traded down he would be someone to look at in the mid round range. The combine could change that though....

Obviously some of these names will be up or down a round but I'm currently using NFLdraftscout.com rankings and rounds as a measure of where certain players will likely be taken off the board. At least until after the combine.

If I had to name only one player it was a big need it would be Jerrod Johnson. His arm strength is a little bit of a liability in the short term but that was due to a shoulder injury and imagine what he could be like in a year or 2. His size and skill set are incredible, at 6-5 245 even if you shave off an inch and 5-10 pounds that is still monstrous. He put up amazing numbers at TA&M
2008 194 326 2435 59.5 7.47 62 21 10 30 137.37
2009 296 497 3579 59.6 7.20 70 30 8 27 136.74
2010 158 279 1947 56.6 6.98 69 14 9 25 125.35
Even after struggling through the first half of the year(still not fully recovered from shoulder surgey. He admitted it before the season even started) he was still on his way to another solid year. He is clearly a 60% passer and has the athletic ability to go with it. Definitely my favorite QB out of the entire class because of what Harbaugh could do with him. I am still holding on to shred of hope that Harbaugh sees something in him and at least invites him to OTAs if he somehow goes undrafted.
