I think we make a serious play for either Kevin Kolb or Jake Locker.

I see Newton either going to us or the Bills, and I have a strong feeling Gabbert or Locker go to Washington

God I hope you're wrong about Newton. I absolutely do not want that kid playing for the 49ers. He may have talent, but he is just not a player I want leading our team for the next 10 years.

I say Josh Johnson, without a doubt. Plus we get him much less cheap than Kolb. The thing is I think JJ has greater upside, plus he has already been sculpted by Jim Harbaugh.

At this point, I would prefer Johnson too. Close second would be Flynn of GB...

Where have you been for like 2 months?! Foles is staying school....
Also Miami is in dire need to break their 2nd round jinx on picking QBs. They've whiffed on 5 in a row and will probably take one the first because Henne has already plateaued out, maybe with some OL work or better RB he could improve but I bet they either go mad and reach in the first for Newton or Mallett or maybe they'll actually do their homework on a middle/late rounder and get it right for once.
That in no way means we will resign Carr, If Harbaugh is in anyway serious of keeping Alex on board then you can be sure that Carr already has his bags packed.

The way people are talking it looks like Alex Smith is going to be our QB and Locker getting the #2 spot.

Hopefully we get mcnabb not ariz or minn.....kolb is still unproven and orton is avg. And the top 5 qbs are not much better than ponder would be if hes around the sixth prospect.

Kyle Orton & Christian Ponder to the 49ers
