I'd be down with that.
I'm defiantly on this wagon. This kid is so accurate and I love the touch passes! He moves well in the pocket and has a very quick release. I've seen other vids of him making pre-snap reads and checking out of plays as well. Pretty damn impressive. Given a year or two under Harbaugh he could be dangerous. By far the most intriguing QB in this draft. I would absolutely love to have him!

the way I see it, McNabb just had a bad year b/c he was with WASH, they suck and have a bottom 5 offense, an no oline

The funniest thing I've been seeing about all these middle tier QBs this year is that everyone is calling most of these guys career backups but one of these lucky guys will get a fair shot with Harbaugh. Then we can't really speculate on what round Harbaugh will pick a QB in because they are all over the board now.
Not even a month ago people were saying Kaepernick was Day 3 guy who might sneak into Day 2 if he is lucky, no look at people calling him the #4 QB in the class and a surefire round 2 pick. This being said I refuse to buy into any particular QB this year but if I had to make a list of QBs I hope we get it would be
Devlin
Dalton
Ponder
Kaepernick
Johnson
I am still not convinced that Harbaugh will completely invest in the guy he picks this year. Next years QB class has some very intriguing prospects and I wont be surprised if he drafts a QB this year and next.
DEVLIN in the 4th FTW!!!

his 09 season wasnt impressive at all as well...so i dont think that it was just a bad year in a s**tty offense.

PAT DEVLIN or Ricky Stanzi. that is who we'll take i think.

devlin is gonna sky rocket up the boards, sure he might not get to 1st rd status but i won't be surprised if he does

Most likely goes undrafted, but will likely get signed by some team. Could also wind up in the 7th round. Unlikely though

Bad offense with a bad o-line? McNaab would be wise to avoid that by.... Coming to SF?

Absolutely...But I think he'll go by the mid-third.

No he won't. He'll go undrafted. At best late 6th. He's not a starter in this league.

Why? Please educate me, I just don't know much about him that makes him worth drafting.

Well I'm not a NFL talent evaluator so take my opinion for what it is. But from his tape he shows nice accuracy, velocity, and adequate arm strength. One of the things I like about him the most is his quick over the top release. He won't kill anyone with his legs but he is mobile enough. By all accounts he appears to be a smart kid with a good attitude and solid leadership skills. A lot of people try to compare him to Flacco because they went to the same school. I don't agree with that comparison. To be honest his natural style of play reminds me much more of Tom Brady.

On another note I'd like to make clear I see him as a project. He will not be ready to start day 1 and will have a lot to adjust to in terms of level of competition and a pro style offense. Time line for him to really contribute is 2-3yrs. When we use the term project players I try to look for guys with "potential" and the most "upside." With those respects in mind Pat Devlin grades out very well.

What tape? Where have you seen Delaware tape? If you're talking about the highlights on YouTube, I'd have to caution by saying that everyone shows accuracy on highlight reels. If they don't complete a pass it doesn't make it on the "tape."

Since noone here has really watched a ton of him (Delaware games aren't exactly televised) I go off of what I hear from scouts around the internet, and from everything I hear, there's very little to like about him, and he's not going to be drafted.
