At that time, yes I was, along with almost all of 49er nation. I say Carr and Alex Smith are both garbage first round busts.
you make me sick
Good, in that case, all of candlestick park made you sick when the entire stadium was booing Alex Smith. My buddy was at that game and he left before the booing started. He said he could hear the boos from a half mile away after he left the parking lot. And he deserved each and every one of them.
Good job turning this into another A. Smith thread.
Mods, no one was discussing Smith until BM trolled this thread with Alex.
They’re getting set for TCU’s pro day here, and I can tell you there is plenty of interest in quarterback Andy Dalton. Among those here to see him throw are 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh, Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and Jaguars offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter

I like Dalton much more than Ponder..... Looks to be more of a natural QB than Ponder... and stronger arm, sounds smarter, and can sport the red faux-hawk with his hair!
I think either Dalton or Ponder would be very coachable for Harbaugh...both are smart, accurate passers who have some mobility. I actually like Ponder a bit better, if only for his WCO experience. Problem is, particularly if Newton, Gabbert and Locker go early, some teams will be inclined to grab Ponder earlier than they may've otherwise. If that happens, Dalton could be in Baalke/Harbaugh's sights...
I understand that WCO QB doesn't have to have a very strong arm. But, look at this Ponder video and tell me if he has any zip to his throws... Almost everything is like a lob... most of the time, receivers look like they are just waiting for the ball to get there.

I propose the chant be "SOUL-LESS....SOUL-LESS....SOUL-LESS"

i like dalton a lot. apparently harbaugh is intrigued by him too, hope he slips a playbook under the door for him when we draft him. f**kin lockout couldnt have come at a worse time for the niners. new system, new qb...
