Couldn't disagree more. Having a shutdown corner makes your defense so much better. When you can leave the CB on an island without any help, it makes defending so much easier. It leaves the Safties to either double someone else or play up closer to the line.

I believe so but I'm not sure. But yeah he has nice height and last year he made some plays. This year he was kind of quiet. I didn't watch many Texas games this year though so I'm not sure if it was just because people didnt throw to his side anymore or whatever though. Last year when they had McCoy as QB I got to watch them quite a bit.

Yeah I like his height and his aggression too. He is a very aggressive hitter for a corner from the few games I seen him play and a very good cover guy too. If they did find a away to sign Nnahmdi and had a guy like Williams of Peterson to learn under him, that could dramatically improve this secondary and make them one of our strengths in year to come.

if we have no pass rush i don't care who our corner is, he can't cover a receiver when the qb has all day to throw.

our pass rush isnt abysmal its there its inconsistant but there our CB

Such a true statement. If we get Peterson and no pass rush you will all be calling him a bust during/after year 1. A corner can only cover for so long and something we struggle with is giving QBs all day.
