we'd have to trade up to get a deion sanders type cornerback in patrick peterson. i'm fine with prince around 7
an overrated position

Peterson reminds me of Revis, and Prince reminds me of Nnamdi. I might rather have Prince anyway.

Unless he's named manning, wait eli is over rated!
Neon on Deon is not over rated, and how many jump balls has nate giving up since joining us!

LOL my comparisons were the other way around. I'd take either

tbh I would consider trading up to get Peterson (obviously depending on cost) but I think a player of his potential does not come round very often!

while Peterson is obviously the #1 CB and should go top 5, Prince Amukumara is pretty damn good as well and I wouldn't trade up to get Peterson if I can still have Amukumara we have too much other needs like QB,FB, and NT that I wouldn't want to waste the pick if there is a very good second option still available.

I just feel that Peterson is more of a lock and tbh I am fed up of us missing on players! (Having said that I am looking forward to this draft with Harbaugh, see my topic in niner chat).

I would trade a fourth or maybe even a third to get Peterson as I do believe he is the closest thing to a lock at CB I have seen for a while + he could return a few key kicks or punts if needed.

I have not seen much of Amukumara tbh and I am probably just overreacting to the video someone posted of Blackmon taking him to school!

if we have no pass rush i don't care who our corner is, he can't cover a receiver when the qb has all day to throw.
We would have to trade up for Peterson and being an SEC guy and watching him play since last year, he is not worth trading up for with Prince dropping to us. I have seen Peterson get WORKED more than a couple times this year (against teams with not so great QB's), especially by WR's AS big as he is. His potential is out of this world but so are plenty of other rookies that come into the league
