Great Mock -- especially like Ras I-Dowling in the late 2nd...he may go higher than that after the combine though.
To me, that seems like a fair trade to move up from #9 to #1 for Luck, but I don't know if Carolina would be willing. They would probably want our #2 instead of our #3, since they don't have one this year.

I don't see us re-signing all of those guys and the draft is a tad unrealistic, but if we can pull this off I'd be extremely happy.

I wouldn't re sign all of them guys. Best thing about this is picking up Jonathan Joseph. he's a very solid CB.

I highly doubt we get all 3 of Mankins, Joseph, and Weddle in FA. It would be amazing if that happens, but thats kinda Madden like.
And Weddle probably won't be a FA next year, he's known as the "quarterback" of the Chargers' defense, they love him.

Draft:
1. round: trade up and draft Andrew Luck (QB, Stanford) [Carolina gets 2011 first round pick, a 2011 third round pick and 2012 first round pick) It will take this year's first, second & 3rd, and at least next year's first. But I am all for it, especially if Harbaugh & his OC are coaching Luck - he will already know the playbook.
2. round: trade back in round 2 and pick up a third round pick
2. round (late): Ras-I-Dowling (CB Virginia) Nice player, won't have this pick.
3. round: Mark Herzlich (OLB, Boston C.) Nice player, won't have this pick.
4. round: Curtis Brown (CB, Texas) I like the rest of this draft except the kicker.
4. round: Casey Jurell (3-4 DE, USC)

Free Agents:
•Re-Sign: Baas, Spikes, Lawson, Troy Smith, Westbrook, Ginn, Franklin, McDonald, Sims, Wragge.
•Sign: Mankins (G, Patriots) Way too much money for a gaurd, Jonathan Joseph (CB, Bengals) Will not be available - has already said he welcomes the franchise tag if he and the team are unable to work out a deal, Weddle (S, Chargers No chance SD lets their best player in the secondary go, Kerry Collins (QB, Titans – just as a mentor!!!). Personally, I think Cromartie will be available. I don't see the Jets being able to afford him (they just drafted Kyle Wilson anyway). He has had a breakout year and can match up with big receivers (Fitzgerald) and speed receivers as well.

Maybe it´s not possible to get Joseph, Mankins and Weddle, but in my opinion we need good veterans at those positions!

Come on guys... I was going with it until this part:
Re-Sign: Baas, Spikes, Lawson, Troy Smith, Westbrook, Ginn, Franklin, McDonald, Sims, Wragge.
•Sign: Mankins (G, Patriots), Jonathan Joseph (CB, Bengals), Weddle (S, Chargers, Kerry Collins (QB, Titans – just as a mentor!!!)
Ginn I don't think is a free agent until 2012. Still, you guys think we can sign 9 of our guys and 3 of the top free agents. Even if they aren't tagged you guys would be spending like 250 million dollars in one offseason and probably run us over the cap. We have like 50 million to spend for next years salary.
Minus 13 players signed at say an average of 5 million a year puts us 15 million over the cap. Not to mention we would still have to sign our draft picks. Andrew Luck would cost a boat load himself.

Excellent mock and not a Twilight Zone fantasy. It could happen but even if part of it happened we'd be better off. Harbaugh, Luck, Joseph, Weddle and Mankins would make a huge impact.

First off, nice job posting up a pretty good draft. Even with the Luck trade, two first rounders and a 3rd is very realistic for a trade (and in my mind well worth it). Also like the Dowling and Mareicic pickups.
Only knock I have is the FA pick ups. You have us signing the #1 G, #1 S, and #2 CB in the Free agent market. As much as I'd loooooooooooooove it, don't think we'll sign any of those three, let alone all of them.
Only one I could see us having a possibility signing would be Mankins due to lack of interest from NE, in home state, and willingness of the niners to invest in the OL money-wise.
