Also hate GB taking yet another NT. They just took Raji and still have Pickett moved over to End. Lots more needs in other places.

JAX spent their top two picks of 09 on T's, both of whom are playing well. They have one of the worst secondaries in the league as well. But another Tackle it is!

Damn, dude. Chill out. No need to be so rude about it.

he is just pissed with me, cause I tried proving him wrong about Kolbs deal, and he posted an article where it said he got a 10M signing bonus, but never says in which yr.

And supposely I was rude, which II dont think I was, but i apologized. So whatever.
???I did say what year it was in, this year. Why would the signing bonus be delayed by a year? That was the whole point. The whole sports world talks about Kolb;s cheap cap number next year yet you keep posting about how hes going to make 12 mil next year. does. not. compute.

cause it happens all the tim, plus it could of been spit into 2 yrs, since some times they split the bonuses over many years, so its not def in this yr.
except, it is. As I proved.

I don't have anything against Mallet, he is just so one dimensional and not too bright. I am tired of watching a boring plodding offense.

Don't worry about it the guy acts like this to everyone. You're probably not wrong and he's just wasting your time. I'm guessing you're right.
I'd feel nervous if Seattle and Arizona both got qbs and we didn't. But a cb is a smart pick

thanks, I dont get people, why they hold grudges or just dislike people especially on a friggin forum of all places. It irks me.
There is no chance in hell that we don't draft a QB with our first pick. No chance.

You read a press release that happened minutes after the deal. I posted details after details of the contract leaked.

Kevin Kolb's Contract Extension Includes $10.7 Million Signing Bonus

Because of the lack of a new collective bargaining agreement, the Eagles and QB Kevin Kolb had to work on a contract that works within the system.

With no CBA, there is something called the 30 percent rule which restricts base salaries from increasing more than 30 percent from year-to-year.

So, how did the two sides get around the 30 percent rule?

Kolb received a $10.7 million signing bonus, which isn't regulated under the 30 percent rule.

Kolb and the Eagles likely didn't work on a long-term extension because of the complexities involved in the 30 percent rule.

So does Kevin Kolb get dealt?

No, not necessarily. They have him under contract next year for $1.4 million, a very friendly contract. Unless you get blown away by an offer, you’re holding on to both. And it’s up to some team to sway them otherwise."

4/29/2010: Signed a two-year, $12.25 million contract. The deal, fully guaranteed, included a $10.7 million signing bonus. 2010: $715,000, 2011: $1.392 million

why would kolb sign a deal without an immediate signing bonus? Especially during an uncapped year.

Nah, lets pay him during the year we have the salary cap back, that makes sense........

But If your correct than so be it, but stop acting like u know it and Im 0% chance of being right.

Im sick of it, your acting like a friggin child with this.

lol like when I was talking about the WCO and how good teams like GB and Philly are using it, and you had no comeback so you simply said "well theres gotta be some other teams using some other systems that are successful and stuff too!" more or less. It's not ignorance, you act condescending towards anyone who disagrees with you and then try to prove them wrong because it seems like it makes you feel better to be proven right on an internet forum, which you don't even always succeed at. But go ahead, keep saying I'm ignorant. I really don't care. Here you are jumping on AB and not willing to drop it and you're just proving me right.
