Which late round guys should we be looking at?

They should nab O'Brien Schofield with one of those 6th round picks. Just let him rehab this year and have a really good player for the future.

I don't think anyone is gonna want two 6th round picks for a 4th.

Our only hope is that we can get a 4th for Baas or Lawson.

I forgot about the extra 6th rounder we picked up for trading down in the 3rd.

Why is everyone trying to trade Baas and Lawson... I rather trade Jason Hill... Lawson is still one of our starters until we find someone to replace him... Hill can't stay heathly and doesn't play as fast as his forty ... Baas still gives us depth, if not a starter ...

As far as late round picks, we need playmakers like WR A Brown, DL/LB Selvine, and at RB like B Jones

Thing with Baas and Lawson is Baas doesn't have a place on this team really now with Iupati here, and he was a starter for us who is going to walk next year for nothing. We might as well cash in for value now. And Lawson is FA the same year next offseason as Vernon, and wants a new contract now. There is no way they're paying Manny before they're paying Vernon, Willis, and Goldson, and even Smith if he plays well this year. Supposedly wanting a new contract after his 6 sack season was the reason he didn't show up to OTAs. It only makes sense to read the tea leaves and see that he won't be a 9er past this next season barring a breakout year, we might as well cash in on his value and use him to grab a 4th that will help us get a player we like. LaBoy started 13 games at DE/OLB for the Cards when they went to the superbowl also, and Brooks looks primed for a larger role. It makes sense.

ive been thinking this the whole day
Can we use the 4th rounder we got from the Chargers in 2011 to somehow move back into this year's 4th or 5th round?

Edit: I've also wondered, are there any kickers we can possibly find in this draft? I like Nedney, but I have no faith in any of the other kickers we brought in last year as his replacement.

So out of those guys who you think we could possibly get in the 6th/7th? That's a pretty good list of sleepers IMO. Or do we trade up to the 4th somehow(which would be nice)?
We have already drafted 2 potential starting offensive linemen, our future starting SS, and a nice backup linebacker.

We need to grab a CB and a change of pace RB. I'm not sure who will be available in the 6th round, but Joe McKnight out of USC would be a nice complement to Gore and Coffee. He's a 4.3 guy with shifty moves and good burst in the open field. All qualities that Coffee is lacking in.

has this regime of the niners ever shown to get much worthwhile this late in the draft anyways? do late 6th round picks pan out for anyone? isn't this just taking it a step too far?
