I do not want us to draft Clausen, but I wouldn't be disappointed if we did. I would be tremendously disappointed if we drafted someone like JPP.

Spiller. I don't understand all the love for a guy who will not be able to carry the load. As much as I don't think need should play a huge factor in the draft (I'm a big BPA guy) - RB is one of only position we have a great player at. And Gore can do it all. Sure Spiller has far more speed, would add a lot in the return game, and would be a better receiver. But isn't that a luxury that we can't afford with help needed nearly everywhere except DL and ILB? How do you pick a change of pace back over a big time pass rusher, cover guy, offensive lineman, etc? Even if we didn't have Gore?

I don't get the negativity WRT Dan Williams...he's the no. 1 rated NT...and I'm using Walter's Football player rankings as my source. Franklin's not signed for the 2010 season...and no long-term deal has been announced. DW's got great NT experience..comparing him to Balmer is apples & oranges. If he fell to us, he'd be a smart and needed pick. There's nobody behind Franklin as good as Williams. One of Singletary's priorities is to have a NT who'll keep blockers off Willis so he can continue to make plays...in my view, Williams would be a great pick.

Those of you who are against Clausen are gonna feel stupid when he turns out to be a star and Alex will end up like David Carr.
Hmmmm...could it be that we know just how good next year's QB class is going to be and that maybe the top brass knows that too?
Jake Locker
Andrew Luck
Ryan Mallett
Pat Delvin
Nick Foles
Christian Ponder
There could be five of these six in the first and a couple more in the second. It may rival the 83 QB class.
I'd wait.

please let the clausen interview be nothing more than smokescreen. Next year will be the Qb draft to consider ...with a beefed up Oline and a final verdict on smith.

im kinda hopin we get the last pick of the draft, if you catch my drift, anyway we may not get a top 20 pick next year in all reality

Can't believe people are choosing Clausen over Pierre-Paul. At least Clausen is worth the 13th pick, Pierre-Paul IMO shouldn't even be in the top 20.
