This is my final Mock before the draft
I have changed up my approach almost every time. I truly believe that the top 3 and maybe even top 4 OT’s are gone by 13. With that being said I feel like the best thing to do is grab BPA playmakers or trade down. There are a couple different RT prospects that can be had in the 2nd round.
Anyways, I feel like this draft covers pretty much all our needs and gives us both immediate impact players and solid depth.
I love to your hear your guys thoughts and critiques. It always nice to hear others opinions. Let me know what you guys think.
1A: CJ Spiller RB/KR/Slot, Clemson
- Okung, Bulaga, Williams are gone
- Davis is maybe still there, but 49ers don’t risk paying the 13 spot for a LT with a bad attitude, when all we need is a solid RT
- Instead they go BPA and get a homerun hitter in CJ Spiller
- Instant starter at KR and sees plenty of action in our spread attack
1B: Trade with New England Patriots for the 34th and 53rd pick
- New England has a boatload of picks and decides to package two of their 2nd rounders to come up and grab a sliding prospect (Dez Bryant) or snag someone ahead other teams (Brandon Graham, Kyle Wilson, Taylor Mays, etc).
2A: (34th) Vladimir Ducasse, OT UMASS
- We get our RT at much better value here in the top of the 2nd round (Rather then paying top 17 money for a LT prospect that will be a RT for us)
- Ducasse is a bit raw, but is big and physical
- Has the ability to become a dominant run/pass RT
- I think this is a better route then reaching at 17 for Charles Brown
2B: (49th) John Jerry OG, Ole Miss
- Big, strong mauler
- Hopefully can beat out Baas as our starting LG
- Also has ability to play tackle, which is always nice when injuries start to hit
2C: (53rd) Morgan Burnett S, Georgia Tech
- Tall rangy safety
- Ability to play either FS or SS
- Gives us great amount of flexibility when paired up with Goldson
3: Jerome Murphy CB, South Flordia
- Big cornerback (The kind that the 49ers like)
- Very physical and great in run support
- Comes in and competes for at least the nickel spot
- Gives us youth, athleticism, and depth in the secondary
4: Jamar Chaney, ILB Mississippi St.
- Super athletic LB
- Has great size and speed
- A great value pick in the fourth to be groomed as Spikes replacement
5: O’Brien Schoefield, OLB Wisconsin
- Injured and won’t play this year
- Insurance pick incase Brooks doesn’t produce this year or Manny jumps ship after the season
6: Nate Bynum TE, Pittsburgh
- Blocking TE
- Competes for our 3rd TE roster spot
6 Comp: LeRoy Vann KR/PR, Flordia A & M
- Explosive returner
- Can instantly take the punt returning duties and also provides upgrade on KR
- With Spiller and Vann, our special teams improve dramatically
7: John Conner FB, Kentucky
- Big SEC fullback to bring in and compete with Norris and Miller

nice draft, i just think new england trading with us might be far fetched, the tend to value 2nd round picks as much as 1st rounders

I like the trade, and what you do with the picks. But no NT to back up Franklin?

Poor trade. Gotta take Joe Haden if he's there.
