Would you draft Clausen?

NO again.

I'm gonna be pissed if they pass on him.
I hope he's gone by 13 so we don't have to worry about it.

I will be very upset if they trade up for him, but if they take him at 13 or (better yet) 17, I won't be that pissed. Everybody seems to believe the kid can play. It's his attitude that's the problem. I believe that Singletary can bring out the leadership in him, teach him not to throw his teammates under the bus.

I don't want the niners to draft him, but if we came away with Bulaga and Clausen, I wouldn't be devistated.

Even Joe Montana says the kid can play.

I wouldn't trade up for him but if he fell to 13, I would take him unless one of the top Tackles falls as well. I assume Okung and Trent Williams will be long gone but in the last 24 hours or so, there seems to be some thought that Bulaga might fall to 13. In that case, I take Bulaga at 13 and then Clausen at 17 if he's still there. If it comes down to Anthony Davis or Clausen at 13, though, I take Clausen.

With all that said, I don't think he makes it to 13, though if the Tebow going in the Top 15 talk happens, it becomes more likely that he might make it to 13.

Link? I never heard that.
If the 9ers traded up with the 17th to get a solid RT and picked up Clausen @ 13, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

A lot of the time, I feel like the 9ers are too conservative with the draft and free agency. This would be an "all in" move for 2 blue chip players to help get the offense up near the same caliber as the D and quickly.

One without the other is a gamble. You can get a solid RT and hope that Smith pans out, or you can get Clausen and hope that whoever fell to you at RT can take care of business. Go for both and not only gain instant credibility, but solidify your line and QB for the next 5-10 years.

Everything is a risk man. Who knows if Clausen will be legit or not.

I'd rather take Tebow in the second than Clausen in the first, and I'm really not that big of a Tebow fan ...
Did anybody watch the Jon Gruden thing with Jimmy Clausen?

I saw all the other ones, and I felt like you could get a good grasp on the players' characters.

I didn't see Clausen's though, anybody wanna tell me how it was?

I love Clausen but lets not forget that Montana is a bit biased on the matter.
