Definitely need to add talent to the OL.
The question is at what cost? (1st , 2-1st, a 2ed )
Here's a time line of WHY the RT. position was so dysfunctional last yr.
Aug.
10th- Snyder starting at RT.
24th Snyder hurts knee= x-ray
31st- Snyder day -day
Sept.
16th- Snyder & Bass not sharp due to injuries, lose of practice time.
18th- Pashos starts at RT.
21st- Pashos & Snyder split practice time
Oct.
19th- Snyder & Chilo split practice time at RG.
26th- Pashos hurts shoulder, out for the yr.
28th- Snyder back to RT.
30th- A. Smith starts, whole new spread offense, cadence, philosophy( pass not run)
Nov.
13th- Snyder AC. sprain
17th- Staley knee, out Sims starts at LT.

With so much unsettled movement and injury how do we know how much talent we need ?

massive o-line improvement, special teams play maker, and secondary help. everything we need

Not terrible but:

While I do think we need a starting tackle, I'm not sure we need to spend the other 1st rounder on a guard.

I'd rather get a quality pass rusher or db with the 17th pick.

Besides there are very good guards that we can pick up in the 2nd or 3rd rounds.
