If he's 10 lbs. bigger and 2 inches taller he is a sure top 10 guy. I do believe however that if we want Spiller we have to take him at #13. I don't think we get another shot at #17. He will go in between those picks if still available.
See i disagree. If you look at the Spiller, he is a gamechanger, but he neither has the speed nor explosion to that of a chris johnson and he has low positional value (HB are a dime a dozen). I mean, Spiller would help any team alot, but I just don't see him as top 10 talent. I think he is top 15-20 (closer to 15), but due to chris johnson's 2k year and Felix Jones's performance in the playoffs, people are looking for that kind of player.
Meanwhile, Dez is definitely top 10 talent, but so is Derrick Morgan. Dez will not go top 10 due to character issues and alot of teams looking for OTs and Morgan will be hurt becuase of the OTs and alot of teams switching to a 3-4.
There are gonna be players to be had in the late teens that are gonna be steals due to alot of team drafting for need rather than BPA (Bryant, Morgan, Haden, McClain). Anyway thats just my opinion.
