Round 1 Trent Williams Oklahoma RT
Dominated at RT last year, can play both tackles. Steps in as starter day 1

Round 2 Morgan Burnett Georgia Tech FS/SS
BALLHAWK 14 INTS in 3 years. Can play both safety positions. Hard nosed player who isn't scared to tackle

Round 3 Eric Norwood South Carolina OLB
Playmaking linebacker, great pass rusher. rotates with Lawson, Brooks and Haralson. Scholl's ALL time leader in tackles for loss

Round 4 John Jerry Mississippi OG
Adds depth and can even start over Baas at LG

Round 5 Chris Marinelli Stanford OT
Raw but has potential to fill in at OT if Staley goes down.

Round 6 Kevin Thomas USC DB
Push for a roster spot and a huge improvement over Keith Smith

Round 7 Travis Ivey Maryland DT
Ketwan BAlmer is a BUST we need a DT in case we cant reach a long term deal with Franklin

Comp. AJ Wallace Penn State DB/KR/WR/FS
One of the Big 10's premier kick returners. He's a multi talented player who plays all 3 phases of the game. Penn state's quickest and most athletic player

Love the draft, but I'm not a big fan of who decided to retain/cut.

I'd keep Bly over Walt Harris. Bly played well as a nickel corner, and Walt is coming off a serious injury.

I would also keep Pashos.

Think norwood and Jerry are going one round higher theb you have drafted.

A spiller + OT first round is fine by me

- Spiller and best OT...good. I don't believe Trent Williams is the right guy, though. He did ok at RT, but no so hot at LT. I think Mac will want to draft an OT who can play both positions...which equates to Campbell, Bulaga, Charles Brown. Also, OL Coach Solari will advise Singletary to draft guys who're very agile, able to lead screens, sweeps, and can zone block.

- in 2nd, I see Singletary/Mac taking a CB before any S...because they may not re-sign Bly and Brown showed he wasn't ready to be prime-time starter yet. So, a guy like Perrish Cox would be an excellent grab here. He's also an excellent KR.

- 3rd, I like Norwood, but this may be the spot to get their OG...Mike Johnson has more versatility than Jerry, having played both OG and OT for Nick Saban. Plus, he's adept at zone blocking. Don't think he'd still be avail in 4th rd.

- 4th...good spot for OLB, WR, DL.

5-7, no problem, these guys look fine.
