"After his disastrous performance at the Senior Bowl, former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow has decided that he needs more time to work on his passing mechanics, and he will not throw at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis this week."

Rome wasn't built in a day.
Smart move, no question he needs more time before there can be a fair evaluation.

Disagree. People remeber the last thing you do, and the last thin Tebow did was fumble twice and show his poor footwork at the senior bowl. Although working out at the combine will not be nice, it could not hurt for him to show his footwork as he looked AWFUL at the senior bowl. His footwork need serious improvment, but if he shows that he has made considerable steps in such a short period of time, it will greatly increase his stock. Its a "screwed if you do, screwed if you don't" situation.

This type of process takes time, anyone who expects considerable steps to be made in a week isnt reasonable. The combine is the most scrutinized event leading up to the draft, no reason to rush into that unprepared.
