Both these guys would be available but why would we want to sign yet another OLB. ILB is what we need for when Spikes retires.

Lawson nor Haralson provides the umph t the position Merrimen can if he's playing to his potential. I agree we need someone to replace Spikes when he's done. But he's not done. and let's be honest not the hardest position to fill when that time does come.

Draft:
trade #13 our 3rd this year and 3rd next year to Cleveland for #7
trade 5th and 6th for a 4th
1a: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
1b: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
2: Dexter McCluster,WR/RB, Ole Miss
3: traded
4: Marshall Newhouse, OG,OT , TCU
4: Jacoby Ford, WR, Clemson
6(comp): Derek Hardman, OT, Eastern Kentucky
7: Ekom Udofia, NT, Stanford
Offense would be set for years. Assuming everyone pans out. While still fielding a more than adequate defense until we can get it dominant.
1) Sam Bradford will not be available when we pick. I'm also not so sure why you are so in love with him. He is another shotgun/system QB. Do we want that? Plus his shoulder is as banged up as Alex's. In fact Alex may be more healthy since he had surgery to get his repaired. Also BTW 2 years in the same system and 2 years with the same coordinator won't make Alex worse. He will in fact be better than what was already his best statistical year.
1B) I don't like Trent Williams that much. He struggles in pass blocking and is overrated on the WZ. BULAGA.
I like McCluster and Jacoby Ford a lot. Those are great picks. I'm not sure Ford falls that far. But I like getting him if we can.
Overall not bad. I'm just not sure about the top and especially the top 1.

I don't like trading up for him. We are giving up too much.
I wouldn't mind Lefevour later in the draft.

I think Lawson's quickness and run stuffing skills would let him move inside and be a beast.
