Trent Williams, Haden + Hughes = A+
I'll be happy with this too.

good. but have a pointer. J. Hughes is going to be a 1st rounder. I would love to have him since I think we need to add some nastiness to our overall D.

Thats what everyone said about Everette Brown last year too. He ended up going #11 in the 2nd rd to Carolina. Some were even predicting him to go top 10. If he gets by NE at the end of the 1st round he is ours.

Works for me. What positions would you be looking at for the late round picks? It looks like you have the offensive line handled, so then what?

Well you can never have enough pass rushers or big bodies on the line. I`d go with a young speedster at CB with return abilities to be groomed into a starting role. A big body for the Dline. And a Pass Rush specialist. In no particular order.

Didn't Nate imply that he would not move to FS in an interview on KNBR?

IDK why, plenty of great corners have made the switch and been dominant safeties. Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott to name two. Nate has the skill set to be a terrific all-pro safety.
Hughes is a fringe guy, his combine and all-star games are really going to be big in determining whether he goes in the 1st or the second.

That would be a very good draft.

I agree, Those tweeners always fall in the draft. Either you draft an undersized DE and take a chance. Or you stand him up in the 3-4 and take a chance. If anbody call fall its him.

I agree, but I just don't think Nate is willing. I think he might be a very good FS, then again, I think he can still play corner.

not trying to get you upset or nothing but just my opinion. but you're correct about the E. Brown and on having more pass rushers. regardless i like his nastiness.
