Just had my first draft of the season!

RBs: Adrian Peterson, Clinton Portis, Johnathan Stewart and Felix Jones
WRs: Andre Johnson, TJ WhosYourMama, DeSean Jackson, Eddie Royal and JOSH MORGAN!!!!
TEs: Chris Cooley and Vernon Davis
D: Tennessee
K: David Akers

How many teams? Scoring setup? PPR? lineup setup?

i checked yahoo not too long ago and they hadn't started

I did mine too, it went something like

QB: Peyton Manning, Eli Manning
RB: Frank Gore, Reggie Bush, Willie Parker
WR: Chad Ochocinco, Steve Breaston, Josh Morgan, and 2 other guys I forgot
TE: Vernon Davis
D/ST: San Diego


I draft Vernon Davis every year

Anytime I’ve done a draft it’s been after the last preseason game the week before the season.

If something happens to a player between now and the start of football (Walt Harris) injury, suspension, etc you’re just SOL right.

What is the point of doing a draft now?

Looks like a good team. Your WR's and TE's are the only ones I would be concerned about. As long as Eli can adjust to the new setup his offense will have without Plax, he'll be fine.

That's just the chance you take. The odds are the same for everyone in the league. I for one think the earlier the better. Allows ample time to stack your team. On most websites last year's stats are still showing. A die hard fantasy player can take advantage of this if you draft early enough. Like the year after Curtis Martin won the scoring title. I was able to trade him and my bckup QB (Delhomme) for Brian Westbrook. Last year I was able to trade Lendale White and Fred Taylor (both coming off 1100+ yards ) for a #1 WR in a PPR league mind you.

If you know what you're doing it can benefit you.
