crzy, on second thought, I think I'm just going to write you a letter, in a more eye friendly font, that will detail several calls for action that should be viewed, approved, and implemented immediately before the quality of our league drops any more considerably. As I previously noted, lack of parody and the continued dominance by certain teams in this league are, obviously, signs of a flawed system that needs to be adjusted. Handicaps and more contemporary rules needs to be added to level the playing field. We have seven years of good evidence of what works and doesn't work and so I think we'll be able to accurately adjust the system in an appropriate manner. My letter will be a sufficient resource for you to base our new league rules off of. Renaming the championship trophy in my honor would suffice as a "thank you" for my contributions to saving our league.

I think it would suffice if for every win LA got by a margin greater than 5-4, that my team receives the additional points above that 5-4 threshold. So if he wins 7-2, then in reality, he won 5-2 and I would gain those 2 extra points in the standings. Every large market team will be attached to a small market team in the same way LA and my team will be. I think that would be one small step in the right direction. Commissioner, if you could give me your approval on this, we should start implementation as soon as possible. After-all, the season is on the horizon...

Me?!??!? It's 4ML that's destroying us. He's the one that's won 2 1/2 championships in the last 4 years, not me.

There should be a direct correlation in the procedure. The team who finished last should get the points of the first place team of the previous year. Now, under normal circumstances, since I finished last I would get 4ML as my partner team, however, for some reason James believes he was the last place team of last year. Obviously, his 2nd to last place finish was so demoralizing that he no longer sees straight, so out of sympathy, I have forfeited my position as last place finisher to him and thus giving him 4ML as his partner team. That would leave you for me. I look forward to seeing what other moves you have in plan this offseason that will improve our teams.

Or we can reboot this system....start over again , redraft and have the new rules in place? I'm sure it's not a popular suggestion especially with the few teams that are always I'm the finals....

My suggestions for the keeper league change wasn't to improve parity. I have no problem with 4ML's dynasty even though it's been at my expense and misery. The parity in this league is fine. Any time can leap frog to the top with solid draft picks. Or remain at the bottom of this league by drafting like jrg.

Let's not turn this into an argument about the parity in the NBA though because we all know where I stand on that issue.

Uh, no not like in real life. In real life, 75% of the talent in the NBA isn't re-distributed every year in a draft.

If the NBA allowed teams to keep only three players every year and had a re-draft of talent for every other player then it would be like this league.
