On Wednesday, the San Francisco 49ers' fourth-round draft pick, running back Joe Williams out of Utah, became the first of the team's 10 selections to agree to terms on his rookie four-year contract. It was reported that Williams was the first of the 253-player 2017 draft class to do so. On Thursday, five other 49ers rookies followed.
The 49ers now have six players from their rookie class signed. They are Williams, Louisiana Tech wide receiver Trent Taylor, Utah linebacker Pita Taumoepenu (listed by the 49ers as a defensive lineman), Iowa tight end George Kittle, Mississippi defensive lineman D.J. Jones, and Miami defensive back Adrian Colbert.
That leaves just four rookies from the 49ers' draft class unsigned. They are first-round selections Solomon Thomas from Stanford and Reuben Foster from Alabama, as well as third-round selections Ahkello Witherspoon from Colorado and C.J. Beathard from Iowa.

The 49ers begin a rookie minicamp on Friday, which runs through Sunday. Players reported on Thursday to the 49ers facility in Santa Clara and were made available to the media.
