The Seahawks no longer had 49ers-destroying running back Marshawn Lynch and had managed one touchdown in their first two games with quarterback Russell Wilson hobbling on a bum ankle. Unfortunately for the 49ers (1-2), there's nothing wrong with Wilson's arm, and running back Christine Michael (20 caries, 106 yards) did a passing impression of Lynch. Led by Wilson's exploits, the Seahawks led 24-3 at halftime — scoring nine more points than they'd managed in their first two games — and had 311 yards. After 28 minutes, wide receiver Doug Baldwin and tight end Jimmy Graham had at least 100 receiving yards, while Wilson had 233 of his 243 passing yards. Wilson exited in the third quarter after he appeared to aggravate his ankle injury, but was no longer needed in a game the Seahawks led 37-3 early in the fourth quarter. On the next play, Michael ran through cavernous hole on the left side and wasn't touched en route to a 41-yard touchdown just 43 seconds after the opening kickoff. On special teams, they allowed a 62-yard punt return by Tyler Lockett, Bradley Pinion had a 13-yard punt that was partially blocked and the strong-legged Dawson had a 53-yard field-goal attempt...
