ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that a decision on potential discipline for San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York could be coming "soon."
"49ers owner Jed York, who was in Australia but did not attend his [team's] regular-season opener, also will miss Sunday's home opener in San Francisco vs. the Dolphins, per sources," Schefter wrote on social media.
"York is said to be staying away from the team so as not to create a distraction while the NFL is expected to make a decision on any potential discipline for him 'soon,' per a source."

York's absence comes as the NFL continues its review of the 49ers owner under the league's Personal Conduct Policy. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed in August that the league was reviewing the matter.

York was arrested in Ohio in August after responding to an online prostitution advertisement as part of a sting operation conducted by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
He pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges: disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools.
York reportedly spent two days in jail and was ordered to pay $1,150 in fines.
The NFL has not announced whether York will face discipline or what form any potential punishment could take.
In August, Goodell told reporters that the league was reviewing the matter.
"Yes, it's being reviewed under the personal conduct policy. We'll do that, and when there's something to be reported, we'll talk," Goodell said.
