De’Zhaun Stribling had another impressive performance, posting four catches for 46 yards, including multiple third-down conversions. Though Deebo Samuel started the game on punt-return duty, Jacob Cowing took advantage of his opportunity in the second quarter with his 83-yard punt return for a touchdown. Sincere McCormick, Khalil Herbert and Adrian Martinez all added touchdowns on the ground, while Martinez found Jordan Watkins for a score through the air in the fourth quarter. Brock Purdy played just the first offensive drive of the game for the 49ers, completing four of six attempts for 29 yards, though his drive ended in a punt.
