SANTA CLARA — Just as 49ers defensive lineman Yetur Gross-Matos appeared close to returning, he aggravated an injury that could sideline him for a while.Gross-Matos, 27, a six-year NFL veteran, re-injured his hamstring in practice on Thursday and could be a candidate for injured reserve, a source told NBC Sports Bay Area.Gross-Matos originally sustained the hamstring injury on Oct. 2 in the 49ers’ victory over the Los Angeles Rams. He missed the past three games but was tracking toward being available to play Sunday against the New York Giants.The 49ers have a dearth of defensive linemen.
