Netflix Will Be the Home to Live NFL Games This Christmas Day

The following press release was provided by NFL Communications. NEW YORK — Netflix has an early Christmas gift for you – but it won't fit under the tree. On Dec. 25, 2024, Netflix will be the global home of the NFL's two Christmas Day marquee games. And mark your calendar for Christmas Day in 2025 and 2026 when Netflix will be streaming at least one holiday game each year as part of this three-season deal. The Kansas City Chiefs might have clinched back-to-back Super Bowl victories, including February's overtime triumph over the San Francisco 49ers, but one NFL analyst won't declare Andy Reid's squad the best in the league heading into a new season. New 49ers defensive coordinator Nick Sorensen may not have all the answers yet in regards to how his defense will perform in the upcoming season, but it sounds like his approach will remain largely similar to what the team has done in the past under head coach Kyle Shanahan. Sorensen held his first media session as 49ers defensive coordinator before the team's rookie minicamp on Friday and provided a glimpse on how he wants his defense to look once they take the field in September.
